Gangwon-do Provincial Curling Jung Yeong-seok “I want to win the national championship with this momentum”

 The Gangwon Provincial Office, which won the men’s curling quartet at the 104th Winter Sports Festival, won the national team selection event to be held in June and declared its goal of participating in the world championships next year. 

The Gangwon Provincial Office Curling Team, consisting of coach Lee Ye-joon, skip Park Jong-deok, third Jeong Young-seok, second Oh Seung-hoon, and lead Seong Ji-hoon, held the 104th Winter Sports Festival men’s final at the Uijeongbu Curling Center in Gyeonggi-do on the 12th. 3rd Lee Jae-bum, 2nd Pyokmin Pyo, lead Kim Jin-hoon, 5th Kim Eun-bin) defeated 4-2 and enjoyed the thrill of recapturing the top 12 years after winning the championship in 2011. 

Gangwon Provincial Office Third Officer Young-seok Jung said, “The team was rebuilding, and it feels good to have good results even in that situation.” 바카라사이트

He continued, “I think the world tour will be held in April and at the end of the year, but the goal is to raise the team rankings. Only then will I be able to receive invitations to the Grand Slam.” 

Lead Seong Ji-hoon said, “Personally, this is my first win since starting a group of four adults. The Gangwon Provincial Office team has not won a championship since 2011. There was a lot of stress because I was only in third place, but it’s really good to win this time.”

“This year’s goal is, of course, first place in the Korean Championships.
