He continued, “At first, I thought he was only good at jumping. But when he taught himself, his speed was really good. Besides that, he confirmed things with his eyes that he hadn’t seen during the match. In particular, if you practice dribbling, I think you can do it on the outskirts as well.”

Choi Jun-hwan, who has athletic ability, physicality, and wide range of activities, can be compared to Yeosu Hwayang High School senior Lee Seung-woo (Changwon LG). So, the reporter asked Sangmyung University coach Koh Seung-jin, “How do you compare Choi Jun-hwan and Lee Seung-woo?”

Sangmyung University coach Ko Seung-jin said, “(Choi) Jun-hwan seems to have a better shooting ability than (Lee) Seung-woo. His athletic ability is also better than Seungwoo’s. However, he lacks strength, fighting skills, and the ability to solve games than Seung-woo. It’s because he started playing basketball late,” he said, talking about Choi’s strengths and weaknesses.

Meanwhile, Song Jeong-woo from Anyang High School and Wi Jeong-woo from Baejae High School also entered Sangmyung University. However, Sangmyung University coach Koh Seung-jin said, “In the case of (Song) Jeong-woo, he underwent knee surgery last summer. However, because of his record for college admissions, he competed without completing rehab. Also, he seems to have a strong desire to do well, perhaps because he started late. That’s why it seems that his knee got worse.

After that, he said, “I said I wanted to (exercise), so I did it for about two days, but my knees didn’t seem to be able to withstand it. He was at least okay when he was doing 5-5, but it seemed that he couldn’t stand it when he did physical exercise. I think there will be a hiatus of at least a month,” he said, conveying Song Jung-woo’s specific physical condition.
