Kim Jun-ha started playing basketball in the 4th grade of elementary school. As time passes, he becomes a senior in high school. Kim Jun-ha’s goal was simple. Kim Jun-ha said, “I want the team to win and I want to grow into a complete guard. And as the team captain, I want to lead the team atmosphere in a good way.” Kim Jun-ha, who will be a senior in high school, is paying attention to what kind of appearance she will show.
When did you start playing basketball?
I used to love sports. I played various sports, but basketball was the best. I first started playing basketball in the basketball club when I was in the 3rd grade of elementary school. Originally, I was only going to do it as a hobby. It was so much fun to play and compete in that game, so I kept playing basketball. Then, when I was in the 6th grade of elementary school, I grew taller. I did a ‘hard carry’ in the last weekend league finals in elementary school. In the final, they were losing by more than 10 points with about 3 minutes remaining. However, he scored alone and led his team to a come-from-behind victory, eventually winning the game. Thanks to that game, a scout came from among other Whimoon.
What were you scouted for?
Actually I’m not sure. (Laughter) I didn’t even talk deeply about it with the director. Just at the time, the club team and the middle school basketball team often had practice games. I think you liked the practice game then. And at that time he was scouted a lot by the club team. Other schools also came to watch our club games.
Wasn’t elite basketball hard?
Exercise intensity was strong even in elementary school. So it seems that it took less time to adapt. But the culture was very difficult. The attitude towards exercise was different, and that part was difficult. But the hyungs helped me a lot, so I adapted faster. Everyone paid more attention to me because I was from the club team. That’s something I’m so grateful for. However, at first, basic skills were lacking. So I practiced more basic skills and my skills improved quickly.
How was it in middle school?
In fact, I didn’t get many opportunities at first. In the first year, when I scored a lot, I was put into the game. Even then, the shot was good. (Laughter) However, there were many deficiencies in other areas. Then, from my second year of middle school, I received many opportunities for the team. At that time, there were few older brothers in the third grade, and there were also injuries. So I could run more. From then on, I started running as a main player.
Do you still keep in touch with your middle school friends?
Yes, we are still friends. Four of them came up to Whimungo together. We’ve worked together for a long time, so we know each other just by looking into each other’s eyes. Not only in basketball, but we get along well, so we often go out together privately. I still keep in touch with the seniors I met in middle school.
How about high school basketball?
From the beginning, I had a practice match with the university. It was so hard. (Laughter) There were many deficiencies in terms of skills, but I was pushed too far in terms of strength. Even crossing the half line was difficult when the seniors pressed hard. There was no chance in attack. The difference in defense was so great that I ran a lot. After that, I also played practice games with high school. It was very difficult even then. (Laughter) I think that’s why I was more stimulated and thought a lot.
When did you adjust to high school basketball?
At first, I couldn’t run much, so I didn’t get a chance. Then, in the winter of my freshman year, my older brothers struggled with injuries. So an opportunity arose. Even back then, I had a lot of practice games with the university, and I think I got used to it little by little. 카지노사이트
Have you ever had an impressive match?
The first tournament of my sophomore year of high school was the most memorable. If I threw a shot at that time, it all went in. He led the team to the game by scoring in crucial moments. It was my first tournament as a starter, so I was very nervous, but I did a good job. So I gained a lot of confidence. Unfortunately, the team was eliminated in the Round of 16.
How are you doing these days?
I’m just doing the same exercise as usual. However, for the past few weeks, my ankle has been hurting a little, so I’m going to a clinic. The hospital said there is no major problem, so I am exercising and receiving treatment little by little.
The director praised a lot for being ‘sincere’
Thank you for taking a good look. (Laughter) I don’t know that, but I work hard at dawn. In the meantime, I also participate in night workouts whenever possible. I was stimulated a lot because I saw so many players who are better than me. I think I worked harder than others to catch up with them because I lacked a lot.
What do you think are the advantages?
The advantage seems to be scoring ability. I am confident in shooting and breaking through. Apart from that, he is also good at 2v2 attacks with big men. Although it is a guard, it is a dual guard with an advantage in scoring. Even in practice, I pay more attention to shooting and scoring. My role model is Nakhyun Kim. When you watch the game, it seems that you are really aggressive in the game. You look confident too. It’s the style I like and the style I want. So I watch and study a lot.
It’s your last high school life. What are your goals?
First of all, even for the sake of college, the team performance has to be good. I want to win the championship by doing well in the preliminary round and winning the final. This time, it seems to be good for breathing and good power. We talk a lot and communicate often. Personally, I want to show better attack power by eliminating the ups and downs of the shot. And this season, I want to be evaluated as good at passing. In the end, the goal is to become a complete guard.
PS Whimungo Coach Kim Ji-hoon sees Kim Jun-ha?
First of all, I am more sincere than anyone else. Any training shows you are doing your best. Not like the kids these days. Basketball-wise, he’s fast and shoots well. In addition, link play with big man is good. With a little bit of refinement, I think I’ll be a good player.
